AB  - A number of measurement methods, processing techniques, and data presentation guidelines for improving the standardized testing of headphones are presented. Selected measurements and specifications from the published standards are reviewed. Areas for appropriate modifications, simplifications, and improvements are identified and explained. Relevant new metrics are also introduced. The rationale for each of these changes is described and examples of the new tests are shown.
