Improving the Reliability of Sound Systems

Authors: Seeley, Edward S.

AES Convention 31 · Paper 481 · October 1966

Abstract

A means is described that permits two amplifiers to share a common load, yet prevents either amplifier, after developing a defect of any kind, from affecting the power output of the surviving amplifier. An automatic warning is provided. This means has been extended to provide remote testing facility for use in wide area, high-level voice warning systems.
