Authors: Pietrzyk, Andrzej; Kleiner, Mendel

AES Convention 102 · Paper 4423 · March 1997

Abstract

Finite-element modeling (FEM) is a useful tool for investigating the acoustical properties of rooms and transducers. Examples of results obtained by FEM analysis of the low-frequency acoustics of small rooms are discussed. Properties of software are also described from the viewpoint of usefulness and user friendliness.
