AB  - The German Industrial Standards (DIN) prescribe most of the important mechanical and electrical characteristics of magnetic tape recording equipment, and the appropriate measuring methods. The thirteen pertinent standards which are reviewed might well serve as a guide for developing comparable standards in the USA.
