Authors: Schaeffer, Myron

AES Convention 15 · Paper 299 · October 1963

Abstract

Increasing use is being made of electronic sounds and music in radio, TV and stage productions. Preparation of the required tapes involves numerous transfers, cutting and splicing, or expensive multi-channel recording equipment. A simple method is described which employs an electronic keyboard adapted to control the output of variable waveform generators and/or bandpass filters for multi-signal recording.
