Authors: Lave, Morten

AES Conference: 13th International Conference: Computer-Controlled Sound Systems · Paper 13-010 · December 1994

Abstract

What we should expect from a generic remote will be addressed. This paper discusses some of the facilities that an AES-24 generic remote should contain. Does the protocol sufficiently support the making of totally generic remotes, or does the remote need a priori information about the devices to be controlled?
