Opera Liepzig's New Sound System

Authors: Hallstein, Peter

AES Conference: 13th International Conference: Computer-Controlled Sound Systems · Paper 13-047 · December 1994

Abstract

In 1993, Opera Liepzig received a complete new sound system. The sound-reinforcement and effects loudspeaker systems with a total amplifier power of approximately 40 kW is controlled by an IED UDAPS digital matrix and an AMS Logic 2 digital mixing console. The paper shows the method of their integration into the system, as well as the problems arising during that process.
