Abstract

This paper details some of the fundamental considerations involved in the design and implementation of a commercial audio restoration system. It presents, in layman's terms, the fundamental concepts used in audio restoration, and shows, through examples, how they have been applied commercially using Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).
