AB - Analog feedback methods for controlling the frequency response and nonlinear distortion characteristics of low frequency loudspeakers are described in the literature. A digital mechanism utilizing acceleration feedback to control a moving coil loudspeaker is presented. Design considerations for two types of acceleration measuring devices are discussed. Digital signal processing is used for both control and filtering of the driving signal. Distortion and response data are being made as part of the system performance analysis.
