AB - As the functioning of the DDS process can be demonstrated only if the original reference level is audible with an appropriate intensity, irradiation of low-power sources or playback signals is affected through so-called simulation loudspeakers which are to be installed in the stage area at various points according to the scenary. The correlations between this near-field system, a continuous follow-up of the source and the implied mathematical-physical principles will be explained in the paper. Delay-time consistent follow-up control will be illustrated by an example.
