Abstract

Performance and styling are principal purchasing incentives. Anticipated good performance is the primary inducement, but appearance must conform to home decorating patterns and current life styles. A review of past changes in performance and styling, an analysis of some reasons for changing, and an appraisal of today's status should enable us to forecast tomorrow's changes more accurately.
