Authors: Woram, John M.

AES Convention 47 · Paper C-8 · March 1974

Abstract

As the technology of the recording studio increases in complexity, discussions about education in audio take on more significance. This paper will concern itself with the education of the recording studio engineer. The formal prerequisites for employment within this discipline remain a subject of some controversy, and this paper will discuss one alternative to the university degree program.
