AB - This paper discusses certain philosophies of design used in planning the facilities in Broadcasting Centre, Johannesburg. An attempt has been made to highlight only the new and philosophies different to those used previously. These include the statistical methods used to determine the number of studio suites required, the presentation of programs and the design of the system to be used in music recording.
