AES Convention 50 · Paper L-26 · March 1975

Abstract

The ever present need to improve the quality and performance of the professional audio systems has led the current generation of engineers to consider the use of digital processing to supplement the traditional analog methods. In this communication, we present our experiences with a special purpose digital signal processor designed for use with music signals. It is our expectation that such systems will find a welcome into the broadcasting recording control rooms.
