Historical background on the development of 360-degree concert halls and music pavilions. Application of end-stage rectangular hall criteria to the circular form. Discussion of advantages in terms of musical acoustic listening criteria in the hall and on stage. Analysis and critique of completed facilities: Ontario Place; Concord Pavilion; and the Denver Center now under construction.
