AB  - Pulse width modulation (PWM) amplifier due to its theoretically high efficiency of operation, has a promising future for high audio power amplification application in small and light package. Vertical FET (V-FET) developed for audio power amplification has such suitable characteristics for PWM application as wide area of safe operation (ASO), excellent high frequency response and good pulse response due to the absence of storage time in signal transfer.
