AB - This paper highlights the two interconnection technologies of CobraNet and mLAN, and provides a comparative study of these technologies and their applicability to the sound installation industry, through a discussion of constraints inherent within such an installation. Issues such as the adherence to standards, costs, latency, speed, connection management, and the control and monitoring of devices are explored.
