AB - This paper describes the complete engineering design of a sound system for the new St. Mary's cathedral in San Francisco. The design formulae can be used to design most sound systems presently encountered. Also described will be the final equalization process using a Time Spectrum Analyzer and 1/3 octave band adjustable filters.
