Convention Paper

British Contributions to Audio During the Past Fifty Years

Authors: Wilson, Percy

AES Convention 39 · Paper 768 · October 1970

Abstract

Owing to the lack of a selective audio publication, many significant technological developments in Great Britain went unnoticed in America. Some were re-discovered independently in the United States later, but others are still not appreciated. This paper aims to give a historical review.
