AB - This paper presents a novel approach to the design of wideband pink noise filters. Two well known filter designs are analyzed and shown to exhibit errors of about 2dB. An original technique based on mathematical properties of the ideal transfer function is then developed, and used to design a circuit whose errors are an order of magnitude lower. Graphical data is also presented, illustrating the performance of the different filter designs.
