AB - The low frequency performance of a multi-driver loudspeaker system is related both to the basic parameters of the drivers and their electrical configuration. Two and four driver arrays are described. When using similar drivers with typical tolerances of the basic parameters best performance is obtained when the resonant frequencies of the drivers are matched. For a given set of drivers, the parallel or parallel-series electrical configurations give the best results.
