AB - Listening tests that produce reliable and repeatable results are possible. With adequate attention to details of experimental design and listener selection, the results relate directly to conventional measures of technical performance of loudspeakers. Unfortunately some listeners exhibit judgments that are inconsistent and individually biased. These listeners tend to have higher-than-normal hearing threshold levels.
