Authors: Sosnin, Jim

AES Convention 1r · Paper 2111 · August 1984

Abstract

The increasing use of digital technology in audio processes creates a need for appropriate training schemes. Although most digital devices are now being designer to be user friendly, more efficient and creative work can result if the user is familiar with digital techniques and has experience in actually writing digital audio software. A course offered at Latrobe University is discussed and some sound examples are presented.
