Abstract

There is a new, cost-effective and efficient way to measure microphones: Time Delay Spectrometry (TDS). An example of a TDS measurement facility is described. Topics covered are TDS theory, test-room design, test procedures, measurement examples, and disadvantages and advantages of TDS vs. anechoic-chamber methods.
