AB - Large numbers of channels and cheap hard disks are changing the way that audio and video content is being viewed and listened to. The TV-Anytime Forum was set up to develop standards to address the opportunities and challenges of this new world. This paper gives an introduction to the TV-Anytime Forum and the specifications it has produced . The core technologies being developed within the Forum are described, and how they may be used. Several TV-Anytime applications and services have that been implemented within the myTV project are then described.
