Many small studios possess requirements for both studio and remote operation. These individual requirements, normally, are satisfied by a redundancy of equipment, primarily because of the size associated with consoles possessing studio capabilities. Equalizers and echo circuits, in the past, have not been synonymous with portability. It would appear that a single console capable of satisfying the dual requirements indicated, would be more compatible with the -singular- type budgets usually encountered in small studio operation. To fill this capability void, and to demonstrate the size and performance possible, when utilizing solid state components to their best advantage, this portable audio control console was conceived.
