Only AES members and Institutional Journal Subscribers can download
AES-24 and MIDINet object models have been used to create corresponding implementations. Both implementations utilize a network of IBM PCs running the Windows operating system. The transport protocol in each case is the Internet Protocol (IP). The object models of the two systems have some differences and similarities that have an impact on the application protocols. Arising from this study are pointers toward the incorporation of MIDI transport into the AES-24 framework.:
