Only AES members and Institutional Journal Subscribers can download
Audio files coming from different software systems have often been incompatible. BWF provides a good solution to this unsatisfactory situation. The EBU standardized this audio file format based on Wave during 1996. The Swedish Broadcasting Corporation will use BWF to interconnect audio workstations. More than 25 manufacturers have now committed themselves to use BWF in their software products.
