Application of the NARMAX-Method for Modelling of the Nonlinearity of Dynamic Loudspeakers

The NARMAX-model and its application for modeling of loudspeaker nonlinearity is presented. The algorithm is based on polynomial representation. The procedure of elimination of non-significant terms of polynomials has been applied and tested. Then the model is optimized. The NARMAX-method has been applied for ideal mathematical description of loudspeaker nonlinearity as well as for actual loudspeakers.
