AB  - An important element of many television broadcasts, the reaction of the studio audience to the performance, is dependent upon good sound reinforcement. In both the design and operation of the sound reinforcement system, problems are encountered which are unique to television studios. New approaches to these problems, utilizing recent advances in the state of the art, are presented.
