Directivity Response of Horn Arrays

Authors: Ureda, Mark S.

AES Convention 98 · Paper 3963 · February 1995

Abstract

The spherical directivity response of several common horn array geometries is investigated using a computer model. The array types include straight line, convex, and concave of various lengths in the horizontal and vertical dimensions. The effects of frequency, spacing, aiming angle, and signal delay are reported. A comparison between the use of constant-directivity horns and radial horns is presented.
