Digital System Integration in the Studio Monitoring Environment

High-level monitoring systems in the recording control room have traditionally made use of compression driver/horn components operating above approximately 800 Hz and one or more direct radiating cone transducers below that frequency. These systems have evolved in recent years; their target performance characteristics are discussed in this paper.:
