The Significance of Early High-Frequency Reflections from Loudspeakers in Listening Rooms

Authors: Moulton, David

AES Convention 99 · Paper 4094 · October 1995

Abstract

Work with wide-dispersion high-frequency lenses in loudspeakers has led to the study of the significance of early high-frequency reflections of loudspeaker sounds in reverberant spaces. The effect of such reflections in stereophonic playback of conventional recordings as it relates to loudspeaker design and room design will be discussed.
