A digital waveguide modeling approach enables efficient synthesis of organ flue pipe sound in real time using a digital signal processor. Another approach is based on numerical solving of a set of differential equations describing the physical model. A comparison of both digital waveguide and mathematical modeling applied to the synthesis of organ flue pipe sound is presented.
