Subjective Evaluation of Sound Recordings Versus Sound Spectra

In the paper the results of research on sound quality of recordings made in different places are presented. Space, clearness, dynamics, and timbre of sound were taken into account during the listening test. The influence of microphone techniques on sound quality is also analyzed. Results show that there is a correlation between sound spectra and subjective evaluation of investigated test samples.
