A system is described for processing large quantities of audio signal information so as to provide high-resolution spectral analyses in a digital form suitable for computer processing. In this paper, emphasis is placed on the processing of speech signals. This system, operating in conjunction with an IBM 7090 Computer, makes possible the automatic extraction and print-out of important information-bearing parameters of speech.
