Audio scientists and engineers have labored for years to obtain values and quantities for the various elements comprising human hearing perception. This paper provides evidence indicating that these efforts are a waste of time. Artists` argue that science can never fully describe the nature of art is essentially correct, insofar as a complete description of perception is not possible.
