AB  - Several types of high quality thin loudspeakers for HDTV receiver with PDP (Plasma Display Panel) are developed. Major design requirements are: 1) 70Hz to 20kHz effective frequency range; 2) 50 (H) x 10 (W) x 6 (D) cm in overall size; and 3) more than 84dB at 1W/m output sound pressure level. We have made three types of loudspeaker systems in cooperation with three different audio manufacturers. The experimental systems almost filled the requirements.
