Authors: Kotvis, Matthew V.

AES Convention 103 · Paper 4614 · September 1997

Abstract

An adaptive time-frequency distribution is developed to represent an audio signal in a more useful manner. This distribution has applications to many facets of digital audio signal processing, including blind signal separation and ;audio compression. As an example, the specific application of removing sound sources from two-channel audio recordings is implemented.
