DAB is actually trying to come from the -research phase- into the -realization phase-. Taking into consideration what is known and what is still unknown, a number of receiver technology and implementation elements are explained. Looking at the first major benefits as well as the capabilities of first generation building bricks, products for mobile reception are likely candidates. Consequently the subject is to a large extent addressed from that angle.
