AB - The spectral stereo theory, which was developed by Cooper and Bauck in order to determine the theoretical relationship between stereo loudspeaker signals and localization, makes use of a spherical head model. In the present work the theory is combined with calculations for a more realistic head shape. The diffraction effect of the head is determined from boundary-element calculations.
