This paper outlines several interpolation algorithms for asynchronous sampling-rate conversion. Based on a multistage approach, the use of polynomial interpolation, Lagrange interpolation, and spline interpolation are considered with special attention given to real-time computation of polyphase filter coefficients. A DSP-based real-time implementation and measurement results are presented.
