Signal Processing Considerations for Acoustic Environment Correction

Authors: Genereux, Ronald

AES Conference: UK 7th Conference: Digital Signal Processing (DSP) · Paper DSP-14 · September 1992

Abstract

Signal processing issues relating to correcting loudspeaker performance in acoustic spaces are reviewed. Problems unique to creating inverse digital filters for these applications are discussed, with new solutions presented. Examples using a commercial implementation of these techniques are shown for several different environments.
