The availability of lower cost audio DSP (digital sound processing) hardware has resulted in an increasing range of applications for this technology in broadcasting. This paper describes some of the diverse projects for which DSP based solutions have been successfully adopted, ranging from simple audio mixing to more sophisticated signal analysis and processing operations.
