Authors: Finnern, Thomas

AES Convention 86 · Paper 2759 · March 1989

Abstract

The well-known hardware standard MIDI has advanced to the computer musicians main tool because today you can control nearly every musical equipment via MIDI. But unlikely there is no software that -sees- an equipment setup in its entirety. A remote control language -M- will be projected that might serve as an easy musician machine interpreter and as a communication language between different specialized programs.
