Personal Computer-Aided Wow-and-Flutter Measurement and Analysis

Authors: Pichler, H.; Pavuza, F.

AES Convention 87 · Paper 2860 · October 1989

Abstract

Conventional wow and flutter measuring procedures, using the analog signal representation, require special measurement syst;ems, including an ideally recorded test signal. The measurement procedure is well known and depends strongly on the standard (IEC, DIN, NAB, JIS). A change of standard (test frequency, weighting filter characteristics) results in a change of hardware.
