Aalborg Hallen is the largest multipurpose hall in Denmark. The original acoustics design from 1954 was yet most suitable for classical music. Recently the management decided to modernize the hall, especially the acoustics and the loudspeaker system, so it would become more suitable for the majority of events: theatre performances, congresses, exhibitions, etc. The process for the acoustical redesign including the new loudspeaker system will be presented, including measurements before and after the change.
