AB  - Sound systems for HDTV (High Definition Television) offer sounds with a much higher level of realism than a conventional stereophonic sound system. The 3-1 quadraphonic sound system (three frontal signals and one rear sound signal) realizes high reality sound with the minimum number of sound channels.
