This paper describes a method for sending the co-ordination signals used by broadcasters for communicating between programme sources and destinations in the auxiliary words of the professional AES/EBU digital audio interface. CCIR Study Group 10 has adopted the method as a standard, and the changes proposed to the existing CCIR Recommendation will also be described.
