AB - Because of its physical nature, a condenser microphone is undoubtedly the best device to choose for the receiving side of an acoustical transmission chain. When two high-quality condenser microphones are used with the same frequency response curve, polar and level response nevertheless will sound differently to the user. Discussion very often comes to transient response capability.
